Terms of Usage
The pojr.org forums were hand-coded by me; because of this, I can do whatever I want with them, and not get in trouble by the creator(s) of the forums, because I'm the creator. With this said, the forums have rules, and breaking these rules can result in punishment. We want the forums to be a comfortable place to be, allowing users to join the site without any doubt of the behavior. Some simple rules have been divided into sections to make your viewing better.
Offensive posting
Offensive behavior is a rule we are soft on, but does not mean offensive behavior is allowed. Therefore, everything is fair.
- Offensive content is allowed, but must have a tag in the topic title mentioning it.
- Anything that is grounds for offensive posting, such as judging people by religion, sex, orientation, is prohibited from the pojr.org.
- We are soft when it comes to joking, but you must clearly blurt out that you are joking, otherwise, we can nail you for offensive behavior.
- Simple insults (example: you suck), are prohibited, with or without the offensive tag.
Trolling? What's that?
It's another word for posting content purposely annoying users. Keep in mind that being annoying, and trolling are not the same.
- Posting the same topics/messages over and over again, is trolling.
- Posting useless content is allowed, but only in social topics.
- Trolling forums will result in a harsh punishment.
- Being annoying is not always intentional, and is not against the Terms of Usage; trolling is.
Illegal content
While some sites out there do allow illegal content, such as ROMs, we don't. I would not any me, or any other user to get in trouble for illegal usage of content.
- Any user misinforming other users about something being legal, when it isn't, will suffer a punishment (example: hey dude, check out this torrent! Don't worry, it's legal).
- Copyrighted videos are not allowed.
Exploits
No site is perfect, and will have errors and exploits. It's how you choose to deal with them. Exploits are errors, not put in on purpose by the developers, that allow you to do something that regular users can't do, or at least shouldn't do. It can involve URL tampering, rearranging codes and scripts, and making codes and scripts.
- If you find an exploit, the right thing to do is to report it to an Administrator of a Moderator. You will receive a reward.
- Taking advantage of an exploit will result in a harsh punishment.
Invasion
Invasions will happen, whether we like it or not. They are planned on message boards all over the internet. There are things that can be done. For us, we do not allow users to post on the message boards until there account is reviewed and tested positive. Even then, it will not stop some users from invading, so here is my word.
- Anyone involved in an ugly invasion of any board, will result in a temporary IP ban and suspension of the account.
- If your board is being invaded, report it immediately.
- If an invasion is bad enough, the forum will temporarily be closed.
Hackings
Hackings are dealt with very simply, a quick one step process. Perhaps it sounds strict, but there is no excuse for the choices that are made.
- Any user who hacks another account, even is it isn't an Administrator or Moderator, will no longer be allowed on pojr.org.
The process
When you get reported, and a message gets deleted, not everything here works the same way as they do on other forums. It works differently.
- The user gets moderated.
- An Administrator gets the application, showing the user's moderation.
- If the message is serious, an Administrator will send the application to a trusted member (level eight user), and they will be in charge for the punishment. The moderated user can choose to send a feedback ticket to the Administrator, telling if the trusted member is abusing their power.
Registering a pojr.org account, means that you agree with the terms on this site, and any broken rules will result in however we choose to punish you.
I agree to these terms.
